She developed as a vocalist and violinist throughout her youth, performing in All-State ensembles, orchestras, and advanced vocal groups before continuing her studies at Chapman University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music as a voice principal.
Throughout her career, Megan has built a diverse background as a vocalist, violinist, pianist, guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist. As a violinist, she performed with the Chapman Symphony, Albertson College Symphony, and various chamber ensembles, while also performing with bands and small ensembles throughout Los Angeles, New York City, and Las Vegas, including appearances at Angel Stadium. She continued expanding her musicianship through piano and guitar, using those instruments to support her songwriting, arranging, and creative work.
Megan has enjoyed a successful career as a professional performer, including touring throughout the United States and Europe, appearing in the West Coast premiere of the live performance of The Lord of the Rings at the Hollywood Bowl, and serving as a Resident Artist at House of Blues Anaheim. She has also worked as a studio musician and consultant for voice, piano, violin, and guitar, recording on multiple projects including a live studio album with Michael Olivieri.
As an educator, Megan has taught voice, violin, piano, guitar, ukulele, and early childhood music in private studios, academies, and international school settings. She has served as Director of Vocal Studies and Co-Chair of Strings at ElDorado Emerson Private International School in California and has extensive experience creating engaging music programs for students of all ages.
In recent years, Megan has expanded her work into the health arts, using music as a tool for emotional, cognitive, and behavioral support. She has worked with trauma-informed programs, addiction recovery, memory care, hospice, and specialized care populations, leading her to create an education-based music program focused on emotional regulation and cognitive development.
