PLEASE BE ON TIME.  We are following a very strict schedule given to us by the market. If you miss your time slot, there will be no guarantee of performance.

DRESS CODE:

For an outdoor event, we are striving to be comfortable, yet presentable!
While the event is more casual than a traditional recital, T-shirts, shorts, ripped and faded clothes, gym sneakers etc. are not appropriate.  Ask if you have a question.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Have your music secured!
Make sure you don’t forget your sheet music.   Please do not show up with loose sheets of music.  It takes a lot of time to secure and unsecure every performers music.  We have a VERY full day, so make sure you are prepared beforehand.  Secure your music in a binder, or clip/staple them into your lesson book so they do not blow off the music stand.  If you want a suggestion, just ask your teacher!
  • Consider your hairstyle:
Make sure long hair won’t block your view of your instrument or music. (or your face in photos!) Also it will very likely be windy – we are outside.
  • Pianists/wear pedal-appropriate shoes:
Avoid high heels, slippery soles, or boots that might constrict your ankles.
