Nina Vannucci

Nina Vannucci

Voice, Guitar, Piano

Nina has always had a passion for music. She started singing non-stop and giving daily performances for her family when she was just 3 years old. From there, her interest truly soared when she was invited to Nashville, Tennessee to professionally record and perform an original song that she composed at only 9 years old. After this performance, Nina immersed herself into music, diving head first into voice, guitar and piano lessons, and performing at every possible chance, for studio music recitals, her schools and within the community.

Nina attended State College of Florida where she discovered her passion for classical voice and musical theatre.  During her time at SCF, notably, she was cast in the leading role of Laurey Williams in their production of Oklahoma!,  chosen as a soloist for the Sarasota Pops Orchestra “Evening Under the Stars” program and received 1st place in the Sophomore Classical Category at the 2019 National Association of Teachers for Singing Competition.

Nina received the Director’s Award from SCF and from there, continued her music studies at the University of Tampa where she received a Bachelor Degree in Vocal Performance. At UT, Nina was involved in several ensembles including the Vocal Performance Workshop, where she worked as the Assistant to the Director. During her first semester at UT, Nina was selected to perform at the distinguished Honors Recital and in the UT Camerata Choir. During her second semester, she performed at the Tampa Museum of Art, received third place in the Junior Classical Category at the 2020 National Association of Teachers for Singing Competition, and received the Charlene Gordon Award. Upon graduation, Nina, out of all vocal students, was chosen to perform the National Anthem and Alma Mater for her class’s Graduation Ceremony.

After graduation, Nina knew that she had her heart set on teaching and was excited to share her experience and love for music with others and began teaching private voice and guitar lessons in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Nina plans to pursue a Doctorate in Music, while continuing to share her musical passion with others through teaching and performing.

Currently, Nina teaches voice, guitar, and piano with Elizabeth Farrell Music, is the Music Assistant at St. Armands Key Lutheran Church, and is the Voice & Broadway After School Class Instructor at State College of Florida Collegiate School.
