Audrey Lund, a 2nd generation professional musician, is a multifaceted performer and dedicated educator. She’s defined by her unwavering passion for music education, collaborative spirit in performance, and commitment to artistic excellence. Her career exemplifies a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of music within both educational settings and the broader community.

Hailing from a musical family in Salt Lake City, Utah, Audrey began learning violin at age 4, with piano following closely behind. She grew up playing in a string quartet with her siblings at churches and restaurants, performing in local youth orchestras, and traveled the US and Europe with the performing group Rocky Mountain Strings. During High School, Audrey performed with the Utah All-State Orchestra, and loved it so much, she chose to pursue a career in music. She was awarded scholarships to attend the University of Utah School of Music, was a member of the Honors Quartets and received the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award in her final year.  Audrey graduated with  Bachelors of Music Instrumental Performance from the University of Utah.

Audrey has been an educator for over 15 years. A natural born teacher, she began instructing neighborhood children at the age of 13 and ever since, has passionately provided tailored music education to countless students spanning kindergarten to adulthood.  Audrey’s instructional experience includes being a Teaching Artist for the El Sistema Program at the Salty Cricket Composers Collective where she taught strings, piano, general music, orchestra, and music engineering, an instructor at the Shenandoah Valley Preparatory Music Program at Eastern Mennonite University where she taught private lessons for piano & strings and coached student ensembles, and maintained a private studio of over 25 students.

Beyond the classroom, she facilitated numerous events and outreach programs to enrich her local communities.  Today, Audrey remains an active performer, appearing locally and holds the position of Assistant Principal Second Violin in the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra.  She is excited to continue her teaching career at EFMusic and enjoys being a part of the vibrant artistic community here in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
